My work has focused on revealing the systemic quality of nature as a macrocosm. Working with natural forms has deepened my understanding and appreciation of our living world, and it continues to be  a resource for my art. Just as the natural elements are gathered and composed in the darkroom to form the basis of my nature photograms, I have begun to use the photographic negative, not to print per se, but to act as tonal screens and textures. Importantly, the use of negatives brings with it specific photographic imagery. In my case I have focused on reusing existing imagery from WWII and the Holocaust. This body of work is an opportunity to discuss history, memory, and meaning of these important and global set of events. Through these images, which I never print in their entirety, I have begun to comprehend the often difficult,disjointed and complex stories of these events.
